This is a story I have been working on for a while.
It's a slide show made in flash. It's like a story book but with no narration and little dialogue. Parts of this are things that have been in my head for YEARS.
My only inspiration was the slide show idea, which Psychonauts inspired me to do (The memory vaults.).
It was originally going to be a comic...
Everything else is just from my twisted mind.
Pictures were made in SAI.

Q: What the hell just happened?
Watch it again.

Q: What is the boys name?
Aleksandr. And the girls name is Isabelle.

Q: How old are they?
Aleks is 13. 17 at the end. Isabelle is 9.

Q: What relation is the girl?
She's his little sister. They are were very close.

Q: Was Alex in love with his sister?
Go to his cell and ask him. I doubt he'll give you a truthful answer.

Q: What happened to her? Is she dead?
She was kidnapped and is most likely dead.

Q: Why did the dad flip the fuck out?
He's never been very stable. Losing the daughter did the rest. Liked Belle more than Aleks.

Q: Why is the father shady? With a dark atmosphere?
Aleks and his father were never close. The father didn't want a son and pretty much neglected him for basically his whole life. Aleks has negative feelings towards his dad and looks at him as little as possible, so he really doesn't have a good mental image of what his father looks like.
He only knows him as a butcher, hence the title page where the father is only represented as cleavers.

Q: Why did he not refuse his fathers nasty demand?
Well I guess it's a mix of his mind not being completely there and he's always done what father asked because if he disobeys he gets beat.

Q: What part of the mother is Alex eating?
Ask daddy.

Q: Is the dad a butcher?
YES.

Q: Why did Aleks smile when the dad pointed the gun at him?
Even though he is only half aware of what he did and what is going on, Aleks knows he did something awful. Alive, he's left to live without a sister or a mother and only a snapped father. He was ready and happy to accept death.

Q: Um, the mother and sister are at the table...
That they are. Aleks is hallucinating.

Q: HE'S SMILING AGAIN.
He's got company. What's not to smile about?

Q: Why did it keep changing shades?
It's sepia at first because it's just a simple memory. The father get's black and white because read 7 questions up. Red shading was to... you know what, it's psychological and almost symbolic. I don't need to answer this any further.

Q: Why is the end in color?
Because everything before it was just a memory.

Q: That's a strange title.
Uncomfortable, isn't it?

Q: How long did this take you?
You don't want to know.

Q: Are you crazy?
No. Just disturbed. Slightly unstable is more like it. But definitely not insane. D:
